As the effects of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continue to unfold, we are mindful of keeping our guests and community informed of what to expect for 2021 season. It is an ever changing and evolving situation which we are monitoring daily. The health and wellbeing of our guests, team members and local community is paramount to us.
We are proactively prepared to follow the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization and are in regular contact with Town of Nantucket health officials to maximize the effectiveness of our response. We are taking extra measures before we open for the season, including increased vigilance and frequency in sanitizing and cleaning, especially public areas strict practices in food handling and preparation and initiating health policies for both our employees and guests to ensure safe environment for all. Keeping our employees informed and giving them the tools they need to keep themselves and our environment safe is our highest priority.

WHAT ARE YOUR BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES?
50% deposit is due at the time of booking and the remaining 50% is due 30-days prior to arrival. If you cancel outside the 30 days we will refund 90% of the deposit and keep 10%. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO COMPLY WITH THE MASSACHUSETTS TRAVEL ORDER?
All travelers to Massachusetts must comply with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Travel Order.
IS THERE A LESSENING OF RESTRICTIONS IF I AM FULLY VACCINATED?
If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to follow the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Travel Order. You will still be required to wear a mask and maintain social distance in public. Click HERE for the state mandated requirements if you are fully vaccinated.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?
Currently on Nantucket to help stop the spread of COVID-19, there is a mandatory FACE COVERING ORDER which requires all members of the community to wear masks in public. At our hotels and restaurants guests are required to wear masks in public spaces including our front desk reception areas and dining spaces.
COULD YOU PLEASE OUTLINE YOUR SAFETY PROTOCOLS?
In addition to following all CDC and public health guidelines and continuously communicating with the Nantucket Board of Health, we have developed our own COVID-19 Safety Program and procedures. This program includes protocols such as:
Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures in all of our public areas and accommodations
Training and educating our team on COVID-19 standards including rigorous cleaning protocols, social distancing and personal hygiene and health protocols.
Plexi-glass partitions at all reception desks.
Sanitizing stations will be located throughout the hotel
Enforcing strict social distancing guidelines among our team members. Our team will be wearing masks.
ARE THERE RESTAURANT RESTRICTIONS?
Under the current guidelines, The Tap Room, Brant Point Grill at White Elephant & TOPPER's at The Wauwinet will be open, with limited capacity and accepting reservations for up to 6 guests. For those joining us to dine, masks are required when moving around the restaurant/dining spaces. Once guests are seated, they can remove their masks and enjoy their meal.
Many island restaurants on island will continue to offer takeout menus, curbside pick up and delivery.
